GoGrow is seeking a talented and experienced Ruby on Rails developer to join our growing team as a semi senior developer. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using the Ruby on Rails framework, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products to our customers.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain web applications using the Ruby on Rails framework
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Contribute to the development of project plans and estimates
- Stay up to date with the latest development best practices and technologies
Skills and experience 🛠️
- At least 2 years of experience in Ruby, Ruby on Rails, and REST APIs.
- Experience with both relational and non-relational databases (such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Mongo) is preferred.
- Knowledge of AWS, Heroku, and CI tools (such as GH Actions, CircleCI, and TravisCI) is a plus.
- Test-driven development experience is also a plus.
- It is important that the candidate has good communication skills in English.
